Smartphone users are turning red with frustration as they witness green lines on their screens

This issue is occurring in the mobile phones of Oppo, Vivo, Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Motorola.

Green color is typically considered a symbol of prosperity and abundance. The lush green color of crops brings comfort to the eyes. However, when the same green color starts appearing on the screens of smartphones, it becomes bothersome. The real solution comes when the companies manufacturing smartphones address this issue. You might have already understood that we are talking about the prevalent green lines in Android smartphones these days. You might wonder why. Well, my friend, it's because the cat is out of the bag, and it's essential to discuss it now.

The green line has caused a stir.

The story began around one and a half years ago when some budget and mid-range smartphones started showing a green line on their screens. People took to social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook, claiming that their smartphones were displaying green lines or lines after Android software updates. Unconventional mobile companies were named, and users asserted the presence of these green lines.

It is believed that after updating the Android operating system, such issues are arising. Several mobile users have lodged complaints by tagging the companies. Let's take a closer look at some of these complaints.

User named Ajay Babu has posted while tagging Samsung. According to him, the company's service center fixed the green line issue by reducing the refresh rate from 120Hz to 60Hz. He wrote,

"As soon as I set it to 120Hz, the green line reappears."

Mobile users are becoming red-faced with frustration due to this green line issue. It's not just common users but even tech experts who are bothered by it. Well-known tech expert Ranjeet also tweeted about it, saying...

"The problem of green lines in smartphones with OLED screens, which are 1-2 years old, has escalated significantly. All companies should provide a warranty of at least three years."
