Mohammad Siraj sidelined Virat Kohli and won a major award.

This performance weighed heavily on Virat's century.

The Test series between India and West Indies has concluded with two matches. Team India emerged victorious in this series with a scoreline of 1-0. The first match in Dominica was won by the Indian team, while the second match in Port of Spain was washed out due to rain.

In the match held in Dominica, Yashasvi Jaiswal was named the Player of the Match for his remarkable innings of 171 runs. Meanwhile, Mohammad Siraj received the award in the second match.

In this match, Siraj took five wickets and upon receiving the award, he expressed his happiness by saying, "I am delighted to receive my first Player of the Match award."

"I am thrilled to receive my first Player of the Match award in this Test. The pitch didn't offer much help for the pacers. I kept my plan simple and executed it well. When you take wickets under such conditions, it boosts your self-confidence immensely. Rohit bhai advised me to trust myself, not to take unnecessary pressure, and enjoy the game."

As we go along, in the first innings of this match, Virat Kohli scored 121 runs. However, considering the pitch and the conditions, Siraj was chosen as the Player of the Match.
