Launching Today in India (Updated)
The cellphone major Nokia is all set to launch another music phone in India. Called Nokia 5530 Xpress Music, the touch music phone will be the company's second phone in Xpress Music series to be launched in India.
Competition seems to be hotting up for the cellphone major. Company's closest rival in the country, Samsung, recently refreshed its touchscreen mobile Omnia series with the addition of Omnia HD and Pro.

Specification Review:
Nokia 5530 Xpress Music sports a 2.9 inch TFT touchscreen display, with a 360 x 640 pixel resolution. There's also proximity sensor for automatic turn-off, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and handwriting rotation. There's also a full-screen Qwerty key board.
Weighing 107 grams, the phone measures 4.09" x 1.92" x 0.51".
The phone also bundles a video and image editor. The phone can record at 30 frames per second (FPS) rate. Connectivity options in Nokia 5530 include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The phone supports wide range of media formats including, MP3, SpMidi, AAC+, eAAC and WMA formats.
The phone features 3D surround sound and according to Nokia users can listen to music for as long as 27 hours on a single charge.
The phone also has stereo speakers and a standard 3.5 mm audio plug for headsets.
The Symbian S60 5th edition handset runs on ARM 11 434 MHz processor and has a 128MB RAM memory.
Nokia 5530 has a microSD memory card slot with hot swap, up to 16 GB (4 GB memory card included). The phone's internal memory is 70MB.
According to reports, the phone is likely to be priced in the mid-range segment between Rs 13-14,000.
As regards battery, the phone provides a talktime of around 5 hours and the standby time is claimed to be around 350 hours.
