This is one story Bollywood would love to make. A fan, a fiancé and a star. This is the story of 23-year-old Ravindra Kumar Saini of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Saini was madly in love with Sonia and Sonia was a great fan and admirer of Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. So when Saini proposed, Sonia had one condition: that he should get himself photographed with Dhoni, get the picture and put in a locket during the wedding.

So, Saini sold his audio-video shop in Saharanpur for a measly Rs 15,000, packed his baggage and dreams and went to Ranchi. He checked into a hotel and desperately tried to contact Dhoni's manager, friends and relatives. But all that proved in vain.

A month passed by and Saini ran out of cash. He had to vacate his room and stated living on the pavements. He had to skip his meals too.

His story reached the ears of Dhoni's brother-in-law who alerted Dhoni. Then, the Indian captain, while on his way to the Birsa Munda airport in Ranchi, stopped his car at the pavement, shook hands with Saini and asked the photographers to click.

Security personnel were surprised that Dhoni was shaking hands with a pavement dweller. But they did not know the story of the penniless lover.

Having fulfilled Sonia's dreams, Saini is on his way to Saharanpur to put the photo in a locket and get married.
