The common pre-admission forms, which can be used to apply in all but two colleges in DU, will be available for sale at 16 centres across the city till 1pm on Monday. The forms can be submitted at any of these centres. The forms for St Stephen’s College, which does not take the common pre-admission form, can also be bought and deposited in the college on Monday by 1pm. Besides, forms for Common Ap
titude Test for English (CATE) will also be available in the Arts Faculty till Monday only.A total of 1,40,245 common pre-admission forms have been sold and the DU officials expect to give out at least 5,000 more
forms on the last day. The sale of forms this year has exceeded the sale last year when nearly 1,35,000 forms were sold. DU has 49,000 seats for on offer at undergraduate level this year.‘‘The students, who haven’t yet applied, can take the form from any of the 16 centres that
is nearer. No form received so far has been rejected,’’ said deputy dean, students’ welfare, Gurpreet Singh Tuteja. He added DU hopefuls, who have already submitted their forms but want to apply to more courses, can do so now. ‘‘Multiple forms will not be rejected. If the aspirants want to apply to more courses, they can do so by applying through another form,’’ Tuteja said.After the varsity closes the sale and submission of forms, the data scanned from the forms will be sent to individual colleges. Every college will declare its first cut-off list on June 25 after which the admissions will be done on June 26, 27 and 29. The second cut-off list of colleges will be out on June 30.
