Director David Dhawan is unhappy with producer Vashu Bhagnani for not promoting their next Do Knot Disturb as much as his son Jackky Bhagnani's debut movie Kal Kissne Dekha. The director expressed his displeasure to Vashu, and has asked him to work on the same.
A source reveals, "David went to Vashu's office on Friday to discuss the issue of the non- promotion of DKD. He feels that the movie is not being promoted to its potential. The movie has the hit trio of Govinda-David-Vashu and Dhawan feels, they are not selling the USP.

The meeting went on for over an hour. Dhawan feels that the promotions of this Govinda starrer are nowhere near that of Jackky's film. The director told Vashu to do something before it was too late.
Producer Vashu Bhagnani confirms, "Yes, Davidji did discuss about the poor promotion of Do Knot Disturb. As compared to Kal Kissne Dekha, this movie stands nowhere. I know I am at fault and have agreed to work on it.
I have asked for a week's time and then we will start it off with a bang. My other actors Riteish Deshmukh and Lara Dutta are returning from their shoot on September 11 and we have a good 20 days for promotion. I haven't felt bad about what Davidji said, he was right in his own way. It is after a long time, one will see Vashu, David and Govinda on screen together, and we should do justice to that."
