What is Baabarr all about and what role are you playing in it?
I am playing the role of a very positive and simple girl in the film called Afreen. I’m playing Baabarr’s wife in the film. I had put on five kgs for the film. Because of my character, there are a lot of changes in Baabarr, who turns from bad to good. Also, I pronounce ‘ra’ as ‘da’ in Baabarr.
In Kaminey, Shahid played a character who pronounced ‘s’ as ‘f’. You have a similar problem as well in Baabarr.?
We have not copied anything from Kaminey. It is just that the same thought came to us as well. We didn’t even know about this Shahid’s character when we were shooting.

How was the experience working with lead actor of the film Soham Shah?
It was great. He is very hardworking and dedicated. He has worked hard for his role. Most of my scenes are with him.
How was it to have Om Puri and Mithun Chakraborty on the same sets?
Om Puri and Mithun Chakraborty are very good by nature. They are extremely polite. I learnt a lot by observing them on the sets. They were very punctual as well.
What do you feel about the increasing skin show in Bollywood?
Bollywood should have skin show. In real life there are a lot of girls who expose. So why not show it in films? People spend so much money and come to watch movies. So, we should have something for them. I am pretty open to skin show.
Which actors would you love to work with and why?
I would love to work with Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and obviously Shah Rukh Khan because I have grown up watching them.
What are your future projects?
I am doing a very grand music video with a big star. I would not like to give away more details as of now. The announcement will be made pretty soon.
