Stoyline:
Wanted: Dead and Alive is a remake of the 2006 Telugu movie Pokiri, directed by Prabhu Deva.It is the story of an undercover cop Shashank (Salman Khan) who works for a mafia don. His aim is to eliminate the gangsters by being a part of them.
The action-packed romantic movie has been delayed since 2008 and will feature performers like Om Puri, Mahesh Manjrekar, Asseem Merchant and Sayaji Shinde. Sajid Wajid has composed music for the film. The movie contains action-packed scenes with Salman Khan playing the role of a daredevil police officer. The police officer infiltrates a mafia group and works as an aide to destory the entire mafia empire. Ayesha Takia supports Salman in his mission to destroy the mafia gang.
The story revolves around the operations of gangs and the arguments which takes place amongst themselves. Will the undercover cop be able to wipe out the gang and save Ayesha from the mafia? A similar role had been played by Salman Khan in the movie 'Garv: Pride and Honour' back in 2004, in which Sallubhai essayed a role which seemed to suit his personality. Whether Salman's magic work again in drawing crowds to the theatre remains to be seen.
