The story of Akshara and Naitik from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) is not only a part of TV life, but it’s also a big part of every Indian family as most relates a similar sweet & sour love story with their partner. This on-screen Jodi is set to have a big bash as they not only have one but two reasons to double their happiness, firstly the couple is celebrating their son Naksh’s first birth anniversary and secondly their journey till now has completed 1,000 episodes on Star Plus, and thus making a pious figure of 1,001.  Suzana Ghai, the fiction head of Star Plus adds; “These 1,000 episodes have shown Akshara and Naitik falling in love with each other after marriage and then becoming responsible pair of parents. This lovely journey has been captured in a realistic manner which makes our show different from the rest of the shows telecasted in India.”

We will continue delivering our best.” Regardless of daily new fictitious serials taking a start or a stop on the television, this show has embarked a milepost with consistently topping the popularity charts for close to four years.
