‘My son Alim Rahman is just six. He is learning music now and he will certainly sing in Tamil films soon’, Oscar winner and noted music composer A R Rahman said today.
Speaking at a function to release the album Sing along with rhythms brought out by the students of Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory, he said, ‘I am happy that my students have cut an album. I wish they remain united as they grow.

My prayers to Almighty for these students to go and rock in the world of music.’
Asked whether he would utilise the talents available in his music school, Rahman said, ‘Yes. I will provide them opportunities whenever and wherever I can.’
On his son Alim singing in a Hollywood movie, Rahman said, ‘I hope that my child learns music before venturing to music. He is just six and has started to learn music. Hopefully he will sing in Tamil cinema soon.’
Actresses Andrea, Shruthi Haasan and noted director Goutham Menon among others were present.
