Priyamani debuted as a heroine in the film Kangalal Kaidhu Sei and now after completing her successful endeavors in 24 films in Tamil and Telugu languages she fetched National Award for best acting in the film Paruthiveeran.

She became popular throughout India because of this. She had also acted in Tamil film Malaikottai with Vishal and with Jeevan in Thotta. There were rumors linking these actors with her.

Later on it was rumored that she was in love with Prithviraj. But Priyamani refuted by saying this rumor was not true. Now there is news that she is in deeply love with the Telugu actor Tarun. She had started loving him when she paired with him in the Telugu film Nava Vasantham. She was meeting him clandestinely in a five star restaurant.

But now the news has leaked. Tarun has recently gifted her with a costly luxury car. The news has reached Tarun’s mother Roja Ramani. It seems she has also agreed for their marriage. Their marriage will take place once they complete the films which are in hand. Tarun had earlier romanced with actress Arthi Agarwal and finally ditched her. Aarthi tried to commit suicide but she was saved.
