Back-from-the-dead canoe fraudster's night of passion with wife before faking own death   Canoe fraudster John Darwin has told how he made love to his wife Anne the night before he faked his death. Darwin, 53, recalled their 'passion and intensity' in a memoir sneaked out of his jail cell. The couple fell into bed after he persuaded her to agree to go along with his bizarre insurance scam. He writes: 'We had been sitting holding hands when Anne slowly stood up. She said, "Come to bed John". 'We made love with a passion and intensity of two condemned people each striving to satisfy the other's needs - and succeeding.' Darwin adds: 'As we lay side by side, exhausted, our hot bodies touching along the full length to extract the last morsel of pleasure from our lovemaking.' The swindler tells how he persuaded 57-year-old wife Anne to go along with the scam by claiming he was considering actual suicide to avoid his debts. But Anne told him she thought it was 'the most stupidest idea I've ever heard'.
