MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja was arrested early Monday on rape charges after preliminary tests conducted on his domestic help confirmed

The Oshiwara police on Sunday evening detained Ahuja for questioning.
He is likely to be produced before a magistrate’s court later in the day.
The 18-year-old maid (name withheld), said police sources, had been working with Ahuja for the last one-and-a-half months. “She approached the Oshiwara police at around 7 pm and told the police that Ahuja had raped her,” said Amitabh Gupta, additional commissioner of police.
The complainant told the police that she had come for domestic work to Ahuja’s flat. The actor’s wife was not at home. “He took me into his bedroom, gagged and raped me,” the victim is believed to have said in the FIR. The incident took place between 3 pm and 5 pm on Sunday. “The complainant told the police that she was traumatised after the incident and went to her relatives’ place who along with the girl then approached the police station,” said DCP Niket Kaushik.
Soon after the complaint was registered, the girl was sent to the Nagpada police hospital for a medical examination late Sunday night.
After the complaint was registered, a police team went to Ahuja’s flat and called him for inquiry, said an officer. Ahuja is married and is known for his roles in films like ‘Hazaroon Khwaishe, ‘Aish’ and ‘Gangster’.
Mahesh Bhatt, who produced Gangster for Shiny Ahuja, said, “This is a body blow to me. I spoke to a top police official who told me that he was informed by his juniors at Oshiwara that Shiny claimed that he had sex with the consent of the maid. However, she has claimed that she was forced into it. The police officer added that they had to accept the woman’s version. I had spoken to Shiny only yesterday. If he is found guilty of rape, we have to condemn him.”

@priya, hey priya…i agree with your statement…but…u can not judge anybody with his fame…he fould guilty so he get punished…gangster is my best movie….after seeing this i fall in love with shiney…but even i m oppsed to him as he has done rape

hey i dont think so shiny has done like that…he is a bollyhood hero, if he want girls will stand in a line for him. how can he think of raping a maid.definitly that maid only have planned to put him down.

SHINEY AHUJA is BLODDY RAPIST he is such a BASTERD and HE IS FRAUD AND SERIAL RAPER SO DONT LET HIM GO FRM POLICE CUSTODY & CASE UPON HIM who do all this with his home maid he can’t think that what he is doing with the maid servant he really don’t think about his carrier or he think that he was a actor to do all this and nothing will happen because he has lots of money.He don’t known that his fans was not a fool ok if we like him ago because we think he was such a good actor but he is not an actor he is BASTER who do all this with his mom and sister ok he want to be hang it self and commite sucide because ye public hai ye sab jaanti hai public hai
