Rohit Shetty gives new meaning to the phrase ’got it for a song’.

The Bollywood director who spent Rs 6 crore on the song Tha Kar Ke featuring Kareena Kapoor and Ajay Devgan in Golmaal Returns, has upped the ante on another number in his next film — Ajay Devgan’s All The Best. “Ajay is bindaas! The song is shot on all the actors — Ajay, Bipasha Basu, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan and Mughda Godse, it cost Rs 6.5 crore and is definitely bigger than Tha Kar Ke,” said Rohit.

The number was shot over six days on a beach in South Goa. “When Sanju saw the song he said, ‘Bahut bada hai, yaar’. I took around 1,700 people from Mumbai and around 300 locals from Goa for it. It was difficult to manage the crowd but we pulled it off pretty well,” said Rohit who “didn’t break his record intentionally”.
